單數可數名詞或不可數名詞通常用 There is；複數名詞用 There are。否定句可用 There isn't / There aren't；疑問句則把 Is / Are 放到 there 前面。some 常見於肯定句，any 常見於否定句和一般疑問句。

看後面的名詞單複數
There is a book；There are two books。不要被句首 there 誤導。
不可數名詞通常搭 is
There is some water in the bottle，water 不可數，所以用 is。
問句把 be 移到前面
Are there any students in the room? 不需要再加 do 或 does。
some／any 要一起判斷
肯定句常用 some；否定句與一般疑問句常用 any。
